Gantt Symposium 2017: A Conversation with Iyanla Vanzant
9/21/17 – New York Times best-selling author and Emmy-award winning star of “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” Iyanla Vanzant comes to Charlotte for the 4th annual Gantt Symposium, hosted by the Harvey B. Gantt Center and presented to the community by Wells Fargo. Vanzant, along with civic leader and former mayor Harvey Gantt, will lead a stimulating public conversation as we approach the one-year anniversary of the Charlotte uprising. Known for her candor and no-nonsense style, Vanzant will share her insights on how the community can transform broken pieces into lasting peace, which can help unite the city of Charlotte.

Eido WORKS opens at New Gallery
9/22/17 – Eido WORKS is a lifestyle company that focuses on developing content and experiences for everyday people through attractive and functional design. On Friday from 6-8pm, the installation “Eido Is…” will be taking place at the New Gallery of Modern Art in Uptown. “Eido Is…” is a sensory project developed to stimulate the five senses. This project was inspired by the company’s views on how design affects the social landscape.
